TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOUNDATION
ACADEMY INTEGRATION MANAGER (FULL-TIME POSITION)
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is recruiting a Manager for the Academy Integration Programme, which forms part of Tottenham Hotspur's talent identification programme for gifted young players.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week (flexible with irregular hours i.e. evenings given the nature of the job) and is based within the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, White Hart Lane Stadium in North London.
The Academy Integration Manager will be responsible for implementing a coaching structure and syllabus reflecting that of the Academy, along with the identification, development and progression of players from grassroots level through to development centres and potentially into the Academy system. The successful candidate will also supervise the safe operation of development centres in relation to safeguarding children. This includes clear operating standards and guidance for staff, children and parents that conform to FA standards and the Premier League Rules relating to children (under 18s), including NSPCC Standards for safeguarding children in sport.
This is a position of trust and involves regular and direct contact with children (under 18s) and vulnerable adults. The position is subject to CRB Disclosure at Enhanced Level, satisfactory references and a six-month probationary period.
The main duties will be:
► To oversee the development of structures and feeder systems that identify playing talent.
► To monitor the Academy Development Centres to ensure operating
standards are met.
► To develop and implement career progression pathways for coaches.
► To lead and manage Development Centre coaching staff.
► To organise in-house training for coaches
► Communicate guidelines and information to parents and information to schools and other stakeholders.
